Peace of Mind Psychological Services is a private practice in Alpharetta that provides individual and family therapy, as well as psychological evaluations to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns. Our mission is to help clients with “finding peace in every circumstance” by serving the entire family. We are seeking a full-time licensed therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psy.D., Ph.D) with at least two years of experience to join our team and aid us in expanding our therapeutic services by providing therapy for adolescents and adults in the office. This is a full-time contract position (at least 25 hours, including some evening hours). *Only applicants who provide their GA licensure number will be considered*
Job Responsibilities include:
- Providing individual and family therapy to clients based on their specific needs in the office
- Collaborating with referral sources and/or professionals involved in client care when necessary
- Development of treatment plans and completion of appropriate paperwork and documentation, such as progress notes, safety plans, etc.
- Attending staff/consultation meetings on a bi-monthly basis
Job Requirements:
- Experience working with teenagers as young as 13 and utilizing various techniques, including CBT, play therapy, and DBT techniques
- Experience working with various diagnoses, including (but not limited to) behavioral issues (ADHD, ODD), mood disorders (depression), anxiety, trauma, and social skills issues
- Fully licensed in the state of Georgia
- Credentialed with or willing to be credentialed with insurance companies
- Willing to build caseload to 25+ hours (3-4 days per week)
