Peace of mind Psychological services
Base Fees
Our diagnostic or initial interview costs $180 for self-pay and out-of-network clients. Our therapy sessions typically last 45 to 50 minutes and are priced at $165, while hour-long sessions are $175. Family therapy sessions, which also last between 45 and 50 minutes, are priced at $180, with hour-long sessions at $190. We also offer sliding scale rates on a case-by-case basis.
Please note that fees for support groups may vary, and we will happily provide you with specific pricing upon request.

Insurance
At Peace of Mind Psychological Services, we accept various insurance plans to make your mental health care more accessible. We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Medicaid, CenpaticoPeach State, Amerigroup, Caresource, Ambetter, and Wellcare.
If we are not in-network with your insurance company, we can provide you with a detailed bill that you can submit for reimbursement. We recommend verifying your specific mental health insurance benefits, deductible status, coverage limits, and any required approvals from your primary care physician.
It is important to inform us of any changes to your insurance plan or coverage before your visit to prevent additional costs. We strive to collaborate with you and your insurance provider to ensure seamless and affordable care.

Forms of Payment
Peace of Mind Psychological accepts cash, checks, and major credit cards with the VISA and Mastercard logos to facilitate payment. If you have a Health Savings Plan with a VISA or Mastercard logo, we can also accept those forms of payment. Please note that any returned checks are subject to a $30 fee.

Cancellation Policy
We value your time and our commitment to providing exceptional care. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, kindly provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours or failure to attend your scheduled appointment may result in a fee equal to half the session price, in most cases $75.
